WildWood Western New York’s Summer Mixer!

Join us on Sunday, June 28th in South Wales, NY for WildWood Western New York’s Summer Mixer! This adults-only event is intended to be a fun, lowkey way for nature lovers to meet like-minded people and establish new connections while spending the afternoon enjoying the outdoors. All types of nature lovers are welcome at WildWood WNY’s Summer Mixer, from professionals in the environmental field to armchair naturalists, and everyone in-between!
The event’s schedule of activities is still being finalized, but we know for sure that we’ll have Sibley Birder’s Trivia: A Card Game set up, along with a themed craft or two and a scavenger hunt, of course! If there’s enough interest from registrants, we’ll have a “Ten Minute Talk” segment during the mixer. “Ten Minute Talks” are short presentations focused on a nature-related topic of the speaker’s choosing, and serve as a way for folks to share their knowledge & excitement with others! If you’d like to give a “Ten Minute Talk” please indicate your interest on the registration form below! All activities are 100% optional – if you’d just like to hang out and chat, go for it!
Light snacks will be provided. Attendees are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic drinks!
WildWood WNY’s Summer Mixer is free for everyone! Donations to cover the cost of putting on the event are gratefully accepted, but not expected. Costs associated with the event include venue rental, snacks, staff time, and activity supplies.
